AI literacy solo training

60-minute training + test + certificate per EU AI Act Article 4 — mandatory for any company using AI tools commercially since 2025-02-02.

Who this fits

You use ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Gemini or other AI tools commercially — and since 2 February 2025, EU AI Act Article 4 requires you to demonstrate documented “AI literacy” measures for staff and yourself.

Typical situations:

  • Solo professionals using AI tools for client work (text, image, translation, research)
  • Coaches and consultants using ChatGPT for preparation or delivery
  • Online merchants publishing AI-generated product copy or imagery
  • Photographers / artists with image-AI in their workflow
  • Tax advisors / lawyers using AI-assisted research

What Article 4 requires

“Providers and deployers of AI systems shall take measures to ensure, to their best extent, a sufficient level of AI literacy of their staff and other persons dealing with the operation and use of AI systems on their behalf…”

In practice: documented training, documented understanding of risks (hallucinations, bias, data protection, copyright), documented periodic refresh. A supervisory audit must be able to verify all of this.

FAQ

I only use ChatGPT free — does the obligation still apply? — Yes. Article 4 does not differentiate by tool licensing tier. Commercial use triggers the training obligation regardless of provider or plan.

Is a YouTube video sufficient? — No. The training must be documented (participant, date, content, test result). YouTube videos do not provide that.

What does an audit ask for? — Training documentation form (in the package), test result, certificate, contract clause updates, quarterly update confirmations. All included.
